LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS SET TO BEGIN IN NOVEMBER

Lawmakers will return to Tallahassee November 30 to consider bills during an initial interim committee week that concludes December 3

Florida lawmakers will convene interim committee meetings two months ahead of the March 2, 2027, start of the next legislative session.

The Senate convenes next on November 17 to conduct an “organizational session” to install new officers, according to a schedule Senate Secretary Tracy Cantella posted earlier this week.

The Senate will also conduct training sessions for newly elected members November 17-19.

Lawmakers will return to Tallahassee November 30 to consider bills during an initial interim committee week that concludes December 3.

Two more interim committee weeks follow in the New Year, January 4-7; and January 11-14.

Lawmakers return the next month for a final round of interim committee weeks, February 1-4, February 8-11, and February 15-18.
