Prime Minister Janša: The first sign of Slovenia’s decentralisation

SLOVENIA, September 28 - It is the first ministry to be headquartered outside Ljubljana. Several other ministries, offices and agencies will soon follow. This fulfils one of the coalition agreement’s key commitments to decentralise Slovenia.

Prime Minister Janša said: “This is the first sign of Slovenia’s decentralisation. More ministries will move their entire headquarters to other parts of the country. Decentralisation will go further still, with important development departments of ministries moving to towns across Slovenia – from Murska Sobota and Ptuj to Novo mesto, Koper ...”
